Windows 10: Windows 10 File Explorer Preview Pane Size

It's been a long time since I had a Windows 7 machine at work, but still have one at home I use as an internet only machine. That said, in Windows 7, when you resized the Windows Explorer window with preview pane turned on, the size of the preview changed. In Windows 10, resizing the Windows Explorer keeps the preview pane size a static size. I don't like this in my house, I don't like this when I use my mouse. If I could change it, I certainly would, Microsoft change it back they should. Enough levity, I don't understand the purpose of making the preview pane static, in Windows 7 I used

Setting the Preview pane to show or hide in File Explorer will apply to all folders. If you wish to hide the Preview pane in File Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Tap on View tab.
• Click Preview Pane to view/hide it.

Thank you so much for your reply.

What I really need to know is how get the video to play in the preview pane. Prior to Windows 10, this worked wonderfully and was an asset. Now, it requires making changes to the Windows registry - not recommended due to the enormous amount of issues with
Windows 10.

Any other suggestions?
