Windows 10 file search indexing system is by far the worst feature and despite of numerous...

Windows 10 file search is a big failure. The indexing of the files, keywords, search inputs and results is such a horrible concept, but only because microsoft has not done it right.

I have searched everything and read every thread on this topic and tried every suggestion that has been said out there or suggested by the elite team members of microsoft and its communities, but nothing has helped me so far.

When searching in a specific folder, where there are only a few user data files (say from 50 to 200) in various sub-folders, and for which I know that the file I am looking for is in the top 20 folders and cannot date back a few weeks, the search result which are shown on the top are from 18 months back and that too which are not so relevant. However, the file which I am looking for should come up on top and should take under 3 seconds for the advanced windows 10 to bring up. But it has proved time over again that it is failure as an OS. Next one Mac for sure. Guaranteed. And I will look for this thread and will let you know with a proof (like a receipt or bill or warranty card etc.).

Now, the issue does not stop there. The searching of the same folder where there are very few files, the search actually never completes. The top search progress bar keeps on showing the search progress as stuck at the last 2 or 3% but never completes it. I searched for something in a folder which has precisely 3,088 Files, 641 Folders and I searched for a keyword "tennis" and in the 2nd folder from the top (sorted by date modified), there are at least 5 files (the latest of which was modified two days back as on 23/09/2019 at 17:18) which contains the word tennis and there are probably 1000 files which contain the word "tennis" and are all modified or created from January 2019 up until now but so far (it's been 28 minuted by watch), all I have is 13 results out which top 4 are of outlook (which I don't need) and that too from January 2018 and then the results descending down to october 2013. But the latest files which I am looking for, which should be right on the top are nowhere to be found.

Do you, microsoft, have any idea what kind of annoyance this is? Do you have any idea how much time it is throwing down the shredder without any option of recovery? I have wasted so much time doing everything to make the indexing right but in vain! Then I have spent another bunch of time locating the files manually, another huge waste of time! Then I have spent so much time trying to convey my message to you by typing such a long text that I wouldn't even write anyway at all to anyone. And the end result is, its still stuck at 3% to completion without any results to display anyway.

Why dont you fix these problem which people are crying about day in-day out? You are busy promoting garbage like bing but you won't take this seriously ? I wanna slam the hard copy of microsoft on the head of bill gates who cannot even get his strategy right! To hell with his fund raisers for a cause. Cause my ****.
