  1. Windows 10 Files Possible Corrupt - Can't Reinstall

Background: My PC is about a month old, running the latest version of Windows 10

Yesterday I woke up to my computer constantly booting up and then restarting over and over. For awhile I was able to get to the windows login screen, but never past that. I was able to boot the PC into safe mode a couple times and try the typical troubleshooting for potentially corrupted system files. None of that seemed to help for awhile. I tried to reset the CMOS in my motherboard and reseat the ram. It did not appear to be a hardware issue. I forget what I did, but eventually it stopped restarting constantly during windows operations. I could now get to the login screen reliably, but every time I logged on the screen was black. I could ctrl+alt+del and start in safe mode, and I could also open up the start menu using the windows button on on my keyboard, but my PC would restart itself after doing that. I finally decided to select the reset this PC option, which seemed to work okay. Then once it it was done, I was asked to select the OS to run. There are two options: Both the same volume with Windows 10. Either one I select, it starts to run for a couple seconds and immediately reboots. Then I tried to create a bootable usb and fix windows from there. The installation does the same thing and my PC restarts during the process it seems, as I am getting an error that says "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an expected error. Windows installation cannot proceed..." I've tried the repair options, but my PC seems inoperable when it comes to any Windows operations. I tried a couple of bootrec commands but those did not work either. I've formatted my drive from the installation manager as well, and still the same issues. What do I do from here?

    :)

  2. Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:
    • Open WinRAR application in your system.
    • Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
    • A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
    • Now click Open button.
    • Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
    • Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
    • Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
    • Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
    • WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

    Thanks.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
