Windows 10: Windows 10 filling my disk with System "stuff".

My 1T disk on my Windows 10 PC is slowly filling up.
I have determined that it is not caused by my files .
Using Settings->System->Storage I find that what is filling
my disk is in the "system" sub-category of the "System & Reserved"
category. The amount in this category is increasing by
very roughly 1GB per day.
I regularly run the Disk-cleanup "Clean up system files" but this
does not prevent the increase in disk usage.

1. How much should I expect to see in the "System & Reserved" category?
2. Is there a free tool that will allow me to see what is in the
"system" sub-category?
3. Why is my disk filling up?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Disk bloat in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update

Is it my imagination, or does the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update consume an additional 20-30GB of disk space over the previous Creators Update release? Unfortunately, I didn't log my disk usage before the upgrade, but now my C: drive has 56GB of stuff, and I know it wasn't anywhere near that full before. I've run "Disk Cleanup -> Clean up system files" and selected everything on the list, including remove previous version of Windows. I also emptied my Recycle Bin, my Temp folder, \Windows\Temp folder, and \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder. Finally, I ran Wise Disk Cleaner to delete assorted application garbage.

Has anyone else noticed the bloat in Fall Creators Update?

 

Screen display fills up with Windows stuff in W 10

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

This issue can occur due to corrupted/incompatible display drivers on the computer. So I would like you to follow the steps:



I suggest you to update the graphics card drivers/display drivers from manufacturer website and check if it resolves the issue.

• 
  Open Device Manager
  
• 
  Expand ‘Display Adapter’.
  
• 
  Locate the Mice and other pointing drivers.
  
• 
  Right-click on the display card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’
  
  If issue still persists, I would suggest you to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it works.
  
  Follow the steps provided below to install the drivers in compatibility mode:
  

• Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.
• Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for” and select operating system from the drop down.
• Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
