Windows 10: Windows 10 Firewall Issue

I'm using a program called Folder Firewall Blocker to block files and it does its job, but when I go back to check the Allowed Apps and Features section, I can see all of the files I've blocked along with a check mark next to each one, so then I clear those check marks, then check the advanced settings and It shows that half of the previously blocked rules are no longer active. As you can see in the screenshots, the block rules are active in the advanced settings but in the allow apps to communicate through the windows defender firewall..they have a checkmark next to them. Am I doing something wrong?

windows firewall question

yes i am sure i am having no issues with a router. this is at my work. and i only have issues with the windows 7 firewall.

as for adding ports, i do it the same as what is listed in your picture.

Can Windows Firewall block outgoing connections yet? If not, it's one step above useless.

Look into Online Armor for a free firewall.

 

Windows 10 Firewall won't keep my inbound/outbound rules

I realize the inconvenience caused to you regarding the Windows Firewall. I will certainly assist you.

I suggest you to restart the Windows firewall service and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps for the same.

• Press Windows key + R simultaneously for Run.
• Type services.msc and then Enter.
• Right click on the Windows firewall services and then restart the services and check if it helps.

If the issue still persists then I suggest you to remove and then read the Windows fire wall rule.
