Windows 10: Windows 10 Font Issues

I have two Dell Precision T7610 in my office and have recently upgraded them to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and installed Office 365, upgrading from Office 2010. I am now experiencing problems displaying standard fonts such as century Gothic & Arial Narrow in several applications including:

Word 2016

PowerPoint 2016

Wordpad

SolidWorks 2018

Symptoms:


Word 2016 -If I try to use one of many standard fonts that used to be available I receive the error message - There is insufficient memory or disk space. Word cannot display the requested font. I have 32 GB of memory on board...



PowerPoint 2016 - Attempting to enter text using similar fonts to those above causes the text to bunch up and overwrite itself, making it totally unreadable, even after manually reinstalling the Fonts. Fonts appear corrupted.


Wordpad - This app displays large gaps in the available font list, with only about 15 being available. It's worthwhile mentioning this app, not because I use it but because it is a native Windows 10 system app and should have native fonts available.


Actions already tried:


1) Reinstall all Windows 10 fonts from a working Windows 10 computer

2) Quick and Full repair of Office 365

3) Deleting all existing printers, change of default printer and re-installation of all printer drivers with latest Windows 10 versions.

4) Disabling Word Add-ins

5) Rename existing Normal.dot template to 'old' before rebooting

6) Various driver installs for the nVidia Quadro K4000 graphics card, including latest from nVidia site and recommended driver from Dell support.

Although the Microsoft upgrade installer warned that there was a potential issue with the nVidia Quadro K4000, the driver appears to work for all other applications and doesn't flag any error in device manager.
7) SFC Scan for Windows - no integrity violations found.


Have posted details of this issue before but the Microsoft MSFT seems to have forgotten about me.


Any ideas suggestions gratefully received...

I found these steps in this forum from back in 2010:

Step 1:

I would suggest you to try these steps and check whether it helps in fixing your issue.

Open font settings by clicking on start, click on control panel, and then click on appearance and personalization, under fonts click on change font settings. And select the font size.

Step 2:

If you’re trying to change windows font size then please follow the steps below:

To change Windows fonts

1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type window color, and then click Change window colors and
metrics.

2. In the Item list, click the part of Windows that you want to change the font for. For example, if you want to change the menu font, click Menu in the list. Then, make any of the following changes:

· In the Font list, click the font that you want to use.

· In the Size list, click the font size that you want.

· In the Color list, click the font color that you want.

3. Repeat these steps for each item that you want to make changes to, and then click OK.

Is there a way to fix font issues in Windows 10?

This issue might have occurred due to incorrect settings.
I would suggest you to follow the below steps to change the font size in the title bar.

• 
  Type display in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under “change only text size “select title bar
  
• 
  Choose the font size accordingly

Bolded Font on Internet Browsers

Hi,

This issue may have been caused by a Windows 10 update that changed your font settings automatically. If you recently updated your operating system, we suggest that you follow these steps to see if the font will go back to normal:

• Type font in the search bar.
• Select Change Font settings.
• Click Restore default font settings.
