  1. Windows 10 for education: Some settings are managed by your organization

    Hello,

I have installed Windows 10 for education with a product key that my university provided. After the install I logged in with my personal MS account this account isn't linked to any organisation and started using the system. After a while i noticed some of the comupter settings were greyed out and there was a red message on the top saying: "Some settings are managed by your organization". I don't need to use these settings, I just wonder, if this message is caused automatically by using Windows 10 for education or there is something that I did that enabled this "organisation management". Also, I can see similar message in Google Chrome your browser is managed by your organisation, I suppose it is caused by the same thing. I would be really grateful for any additional info that you could provide on this matter. Thanks a ton in advance

    :)

Some settings are managed by my organization?

A long while ago, when Win 10 privacy concerns were new, I ran some kind of utility that claimed to stop like 20 violations with one step. Fast forward to today, and I go to do Windows Update, and it tells me in red font color "*Some settings are managed by your organization" - well, I don't have an organization, I'd just like to get Windows Update back to normal. Any idea how?
