Windows 10: Windows 10 free with Azure (student), is there any catch? Which version to choose?

As a student (not in US), I have access to azure. It keeps mentioning some credits, costs and subscription, so I'm not sure if I have only limited time/software I can use. It seems there's no barrier though to downloading win 10. Is there something I should know if I plan on doing that? Anything that might mean problems for me? Is there something I shouldn't use that windows for and is there anything that actively keeps track of that, or is that pretty much no strings attached (either completely or de facto).

Also, which version to get? There are various version - Pro, Pro ZN-CH, Enterprise, Enterprise 2016/2019, Enterprise multi-session - and then numerical sub-versions (and N versions). Afaik N is without media tools so I don't want that, and I assume I want the newest numerical version. But I'm not clear on the rest. Should I get Pro 2004, Enterprise 2004 or something else?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Which windows 10 version to choose

I'm making an USB windows 10 installation for my old windows 7 laptop.
Which version of windows 10 to use? I have windows 7 home premium on it.

Should I use "windows 10" or "windows 10 Home Single Language" or "windows 10 N"

MS AZURE OS License for Students

Hey there!

So I connected with MS Azure via my University account and got access to different Windows OS Versions and even enabled 100$ to use over a certain period for software. I just bought a new laptop without OS that I primarily use for Uni and like to install
Windows on it via USB stick.

My question is: When I graduate next spring, my Uni account will probably be deactivated (so is probably my connection to Azure Education). Will the Windows 10 license I downloaded (iso file) and installed on the laptop expire? Or is it a permanent license?
Because I obviously like to use the laptop after my graduation, although it was primarily bought for educational purposes.

And is "Windows 10 (consumer editions), version 2004 - DVD" the correct version to boot and update to the latest Windows 10?

Neither University IT nor Azure Support could help me with this. I´d appreciate any answer.
