    Windows 10 Freeze/Hang every morning, hard reset then ok rest of the day


    Hi,I am experiencing this annoying problem since I built my PC a month ago. I turn on my PC every morning at around 8:30am, then open browser and login to web outlook. After around 15 to 20mins of use, the system freeze, mouse and keyboard no response. I had to press and hold power to restart the computer. Very interesting that, after the restart, the computer runs fine the rest of the day, even during intensive GPU and CPU usage. I have updated all my device driver, installed all windows update but it still happens.Here is my computer spec.1. Intel i9 12900k2. Asus Proart Z690 Mother board.3.

    Occasional PC freeze

    Sadly I continue to have the same intermittent problem.

    After a spate of further freezes, always soon after morning boot up, last Friday I changed the CMOS battery (needed to remove and replace the graphics card to access the battery). The BIOS reload the last parameter set after the change.

    For a few days no problems.

    Then yesterday a couple of freezes. After 2 or 3 reboots it was fine for the rest of the day.

    This morning:
    Boot up - freeze after 10-15 minutes.
    Reboot - freeze during BIOS after detecting memory before the list of detected drives.
    Reboot - freeze after "loading operating system" message
    Reboot - still OK after a couple of hours.

    Past experience suggests it will be OK for the rest of the day.

    I've run memtest86, OK; Speccy, Crystal Disk Info & Hard Disk Sentinel all report drives OK.

    Any thoughts?

    Windows freezes that require hard reset

    Thank you for reply I got BSOD this morning when booting ant this is what your suggested program shows. All I found on google is that hal.dll is connected to windows xp or boot.ini so that makes no sense, I suppose this file is corrupted so should I change it manually by getting dll from internet or there is another way to fix it? also ntosknl.exe so it point to my RAM?
