    Windows 10 freezes and restarts with no BSOD


    Hi,


    For the last three weeks my windows 10 pc has been randomly freezing and then restarting. There is no pattern that I can find. For example, it might happen when I'm gaming, or when I'm surfing the net or sometimes while the computer is left on and nothing is running. No new hardware has been installed in over three months. So far, there has been no BSOD when this happens, it just freezes and then restarts. I have switched off the "automatically restart" in the recovery settings and now it just freezes and there is nothing I can do but restart the pc. I have listed below what I have done to try to solve this without any luck.

    • reinstalled windows (quite a few times now)
    • run a virus and malware scan
    • used crystal disk to test my hard drives
    • used Samsung magic to test my ssd
    • updated each driver in device manager

    I used the driver verify to check the drivers and it blue screened and said there was a driver violation, but did not state which one. I used a minidump analyzer and I have pasted below the first part of the results. (I will also upload the dmp file and post the link when I have) Overnight tonight I will run a memtest to check my ram and I will update this in the morning. Below also is the details of my pc. I am not using any pirated software.


    The motherboard, cpu, ssd, psu and gpu are all under a year old and the ram is just a little under two years old

    BSOD and freezing

    Yesterday I started up my laptop from hibernating and it freezes, after restarting several times I get a BSOD which freezed on the BSOD one time.
    After restarting again the laptop freezed at the Welcome screen.
    I have had the freezing before, it was gone for about 2 months.
    I did not install any new hardware.
    Now it seems to run fine again.

    But what is causing the freezing and the BSOD?
    I bought this laptop last January.

    He mentioned that he had done that above. Also I provided a BSOD details app. There were no BSODs to report.
