Windows 10: Windows 10 freezes, disk 100%

I have an HP laptop with windows 10. My disk is only 1/3 full but my computer freezes often and task manager shows the disk 100% full with my computer plugged in. I have scanned the disk, defragmented it, reset my virtual memory, updated my drivers, anti-virus and windows 10, uninstalled google chrome, disabled windows search, disabled sysmain and diagnostic tracking, uninstalled skype and adobe flash player, changed my performance option to high performance, stopped windows help notifications and reinstalled windows while keeping my data and apps. I am at a loss and would appreciate any su

Clean install, disk usage at 100%

I've seen that article. and I am in fact not running that driver. I followed the steps and it does not appear in the list.

I have a laptop running Windows 10 Pro. A few weeks ago due to an accident, my laptop hard a hard crash and afterwards, Windows 10 started to get very slow, frequent crashes, freezing, programs not opening etc. Though I was able to fix Windows 10 by running
chkdsk, DISM and sfc /scannow multiple times, the problem is that my laptop is still very slow and freezes frequently as before and in Task Manager, the disk usage is always at 100%, even if I am not running any programs. I have tried all listed ways on internet
such as - disabling windows search, disabling superfetch, malware scan etc and the problem persists. This problem also happens in clean and safe boot. Upon running chkdsk, it shows 876 kb in bad sectors. I suspect that my HDD has probably gone bad due to the
impact. Please suggest some solutions to resolve 100% disk usage problem.

Specs -

HP laptop

i5- 8250u

8 GB RAM

Windows 10 Pro

 

Windows 10: 100% disk utilization in the Task Manger after Start up.

I have:

1) Formatted my disk and partitioned it as needed for Windows 10

1) Installed Windows 10 Home Edition 64 bit

2) Disabled Superfetch

3) Disabled Windows Search

4) Disabled BITS

5) Uninstalled Skype and SkypeHost.exe

6) Set MSISupported to "0" in registry

After each step I would reboot my computer and get the same problem 100% Disk in Task Manager

2) Installed Norton Antivirus and disabled Windows Defender and rebooted.

1) The system booted and hit 100% in Task Manager for about 5 minutes.

2) Attempted to open Windows Notepad and the Task Manager went back to 100% Disk.

In all instances the Task Manager Disk Listing would show between 0.3 and 2.5 total usage and still show the Disk at 100% on the top freezing the computer.
