    I built this PC about five months ago, with these specs:

    Gigabyte's Aorus Ultra Gaming Wifi Rev 1.0 motherboard, 32 GB TritentZ, MSI GTX 1080, Samsung Evo 860 1TB SSS, Samsung Evo 960 1TB M.2, 2TB Western Digital Black HD, and an i7 8700k processor.

    After four months none of the USB on the computer except the 3.1 USB would work due to a driver error that I couldn't fix no matter what I did. So I sent it into gigabyte to RMA it. At this point the PC would boot into window perfectly fine, and the only issue was wihh the USB drivers.

    I bought the Asus ROG Maximus X Hero motherboard to replace it where I came to this dreaded issue that I would never be able to fix up until this very moment... No matter what I did, Windows 10 would. Not. Boot. At all. I reinstalled windows, did fresh installs, I updated the bios. Nothing I did worked. I had noticed that the board had 1 single bent pin where the cpu should be, and assumed that was the cause of the issue. So I got a refund and bought a cheaper board with better reviews.

    The MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Plus, I put it together today, hoping that everything would be fixed but unfortunately it was not... The only thing I could think of at this point was a corrupt Windows 10 install because of the fact it freezes at the same exact point every single time. Windows starts loading up, the white dots go around in a circle four times, then the screen refreshes and the dots get bigger, go around in a circle two more times, the screen refreshes again, goes around the circle once, then when four or five of the dots round one more time, they completely freeze still.

    I thought maybe my SSD could be corrupted, so I reformatted it, reinstalled windows, and checked if that would work. The only thing that changed from doing this was that now, I don't even get a windows logo. Instead the computer goes through the processes as normal, but never changes to a windows logo, and instead just stays as the MSI logo before it freezes. I've even tried letting it stay on to see if it will eventually get past this screen, but it never does.

    Still thinking the issue could be the SSD, I reformatted and installed window on my M.2 drive, but for some reason I'm not able to boot from it. It appears in the BIOS's storage settings, but it doesn't appear as a bootable device, and when I do actually try using it when windows asks which OS I want to use, I get a bluescreen error telling me that the boot device is inaccessible. I don't know what to do now. If the issue is GPU or CPU related, then I'm done for, because I cannot afford either of those.

    I'm thinking about getting another Hard Drive to install windows on just to make sure that's not the issue, but at this point I don't think it is. I'm at a total loss here. I've almost completely given up.

    Yeah...I went to google and got the F8...lol*Stick Out Tongue Windows 10 freezes on boot at the same exact place every single time :p....thxxx

    It boots up in safe mode and seems to work fine. Now I just need to figure out what's causing windows to freeze up befor it fully loads in normal start up operation.

    Any suggestions where I might start ?

    • How are you trying to watch the videos? Which browser are you using?

    • Which games are you referring to?
    There might be some third party application that is freezing your computer, I suggest you to place the computer in clean boot and check.
    Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.
