Windows 10: Windows 10 freezes on logo screen

So, I'm having a bit of an issue with my Windows computer after the recent updates. Every time I turn it on it stays stuck on the logo screen. Those spinning white circles, that indicate it's loading, don't appear and I am forced to do a hard shutdown. When I turn it on again after that, it turns on normally. This started happening after the recent updates because I did a System Restore to before the updates and the issue went away. Unfortunately I had to do the updates again and so the issue came back. I don't want this to have to be a new habit or routine whenever I need to use my laptop so does anyone have any advice? I could just uninstall the update but I don't which one is causing this issue and if it's an important update then it's even more complicated, so does ANYONE have any suggestions or solutions?

computer freezes at windows logo.

My Win7 logo use to freeze right when the 3 dots start rotating. For a good 30-60 seconds. Then windows loads.

I changed my Graphic Card and it fixed the freezing logo.

 

Friends computer freezing at windows loading screen

Ok my friend is having problems with his computer right now. Basically it crashed on the windows loading screen. This is what he told me on MSN.

Now i'm not too sure what the problem is. I suggested doing a repair install with the xp disk (i'll be giving him that tomorrow) but in the mean time do any of you have any ideas?

 

Windows 10 freezing a logo screen

I keep having an issue with running Windows 10 on my MSI laptop, it works ok for a few months and then suddenly it will start freezing at the Windows logo screen. It freezes at the logo (I do not get the rotating dots loader) and hangs there for about 20
seconds and then the laptop switches off. I have had to roll back to Windows 7 now and that seems to fine at the moment.

Please, could anyone advise on this problem?
