Windows 10: Windows 10 freezes on some animations on every browser

Hello,


Windows 10 freezes completely (have to be hard rebooted) on certain website with HTML5 videos (not all, youtube for example fine)

For example when I open animated GIF section on https://web.whatsapp.com/, or on thegymgroup.com website (have a film embeded on main page)


When I access thegymgroup.com the PC instantly freezes, same when I click GIF option on whattsapp web page.


Other websites with HTML5 works fine, but there are few I can't remember axcept stated above which also completely freeze the PC.


Flash is disabled on my machine.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Update Freezing Web Browsers

Hi,

There may be some browser components that do not sit well with the new updates installed on your computer. Before we can resolve the error, please answer these questions for us to understand what happens:

• Are Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge affected?
• Does the problem occur when you access a specific site?
