Windows 10: Windows 10 freezes

When I turn on my computer and sign in, the blue circle just keeps spinning and I can't open anything. Eventually this stops the time it takes to stop varies and I can open programs and work on the computer. Then, the circle starts up again and I have to wait, however long, for it to stop to use the computer again. This can happen 3 or more times. Eventually it stops and I have no problems from then on. Once in a while this doesn't happen at all and I can just use the computer. It doesn't seem to happen with any particular program. I have tried Firefox and Chrome. It happens with both. It can even happen when I try to open Excel. Anyone know what my problem might be and how to fix it.


By the way, I have plenty of room on my hard drive so that is not the problem.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
