Windows 10: Windows 10 freezing and crashing then getting system 32 faults

My alienware x51 i5 3330 8gb ram gtx960 keeps freezing and crashing after july windows 10 update tried all the fixes swapped ram for new one re heatsinc processor changed hdd countless fresh installs still keeps coming up with system 32 faults was running fine untill the update now i think windows 10 has killed my pc

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

• Uninstall Daemon Tools
• Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
  • Double click the executable to open it
  • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.


There seem to be a lot of app crashes from Realtek audio, I would suggest a reinstallation of the drivers.
