    Windows 10 freezing (not responding)

I have recently downloaded and installed Windows 10 on my Asus ROG G20bm and it keeps freezing (not responding) when I leave it on idle to download a file (approx. 5GB)

I have tried scanning for virus and malware but there are none.

This happens almost once a day and I can't fix it. Is there any way I can solve this problem, it has really bugged me a lot. Just to point things out I am not a computer expert by any means, so if anyone were to suggest a solution, so do you mind putting it in lay-man's term.

    :)

If u use the PC on overclock mode, try reset BIOS.

  5. Freezing is often caused by the display driver exceeding it's Timeout.Type reliability into your search box,in the maintenance tab, select "view reliability history".If there are any red flags showing, then select and view the TECH details. This should give info for a fix,if any.ALWAYS create a restore point and better still, clone the drive first using Macrium relect free.
A good free programme to help you is "whocrashed" from resplendence.com.Use it immediately after a freeze.
    Good luck.

My computer has this turbo mode where it auto exceeds it's 3.5GHz speed to 3.9GHz while under heavy processing, do you think that that's the problem?

    Maybe...
But perhaps a some option disabled in the BIOS , I suggest you do a reset on it and see how the system works .

Especially the "Execute Disable BIT" option.
    Do "Enable" in that.

Okay, here are the advanced CPU settings:

    AMD PowerNow Function = Enabled
    NX Mode = Enabled
    SVM Mode = Enabled
    CPB Mode = Auto
    APM Master enable = Auto
    C6 Mode = Enabled
    IOMMU = Enabled
    Bank Interleaving = Enabled
    Channel Interleaving = Enabled

Should I leave these as it is or disable some of them?

I had checked through the reliability histories and most of them are programs not responding. There were no solutions given by the system too.

"Execute Disable BIT" = NX Mode

It's all ok with BIOS setup I guess.

    So, u still have crashes?

    Windows 10 freezing (not responding)

Yep windows crashed again this time while playing League of Legends. The game suddenly dropped to 0 fps and an error popped up saying "Windows not responding". This is really getting annoying
