Windows 10: Windows 10 Fresh Start

Discus and support Windows 10 Fresh Start in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; All apps including Microsoft Office will be lost on a Windows 10 Fresh Start.     Windows 10 Fresh Start



    All apps including Microsoft Office will be lost on a Windows 10 Fresh Start. I have Excel 2013 will I lose that also? Is there a workaround - I don't want to subscribe to Office 365?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows Fresh Start

    What I mean by fresh start is, an option found in Windows Defender Security Center -> Device Performance & Health -> Fresh Star

    • Fresh Start: "Start fresh with a clean up to date installation of Windows. This will keep your personal files and some windows settings, and remove some of your apps."
    I proceeded to check the disk through the mentioned instructions but no error was found. Any idea what might be causing the issue?
