    Hello everyone, this is not a question but an extremely useful tip I got on my own when I had the taskbar option frozen and never worked and I tried all the possible solutions. That is besides the pc reset optionSo for my case on my windows 10 all I had to do was try to get into the network settings since my network hardware was not detected too and to do that you hold the windows icon + I and get into the network setting then scroll down to the reset network and boom my task bar options and everything else was working once again. It really was that simple. You obviously will have to tap

    Windows 10 install problem with a black screen and hangs

    Original title: WIndows 10 install problem

    Left Windows 10 update to install overnight last night.

    In the morning it appears to be hanging on black screen with Windows 10 logo and circling dots (dots are frozen and not moving).

    Hard drive activity light is solid green and not flashing on and off.

    Suggestion and/or next steps would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hi kashish,

    I would appreciate you for trying troubleshooting steps.

    To understand the issue better, I request you to answer few questions:

    • Does black screen appear when you before user login’s or after user has logged in ?
    • Does black screen appears when you lock your pc?
    This problem occurs because of a change in the behavior of Win Logon and Logon UI. This change introduces the potential for the deadlock.

    I would also suggest you to install all the updates available for the system and check if it helps.

    Follow the Below steps:

    • Type settings in the Search area on the taskbar and select Settings
    • Select Update and Security.
    • Click on Windows Update and select Check for Updates
