    Dear friends ,
    I upgraded my old pc (which is a compaq presario f505ea) to windows 10...Everything is ok but display is a " microsoft basic display" on device manager altough it's a geforce 6100 graphic card...I tried to install nvidia driver but all that I had an error message"no hardware is found"...please help...

    Compaq presario f505ea
    Original : vista 64 bit but not now a clean install windows 10-64 bit
    2 GB Ram
    1.6 ghz
    amd turion 64*2

    Windows 10 Upgrade Compatibility Issue

    My OS is Windows 8.1 Pro and show that my NVDIA GeForce 6100 not compatible with windows 10. But this is my onboard video card I am not using it . I am using the New video card NVDIA GeForce GTS 250 right now.

    1. I already disable NVDIA GeForce 6100 on device manager, but I am not able to disable onboard video card in BISO.

    My motherboard are Foxconn 6100M2MA don't know where to disable.

    2. How I can re run the compatibility test again after I disable the 6100 video card in device manager ?

    3. My NVDIA GeForce GTS 250 will pass the compatibility test ?

    Do a Google search for '309.08-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql'

    I installed this video driver when i first ran the 9926 Technical Preview version back in April. It will install the nVidia driver and replace the generic Microsoft one.

    As always, just to be safe, set a restore point before installing! *Wink

    Unfortunately same error " No device detected"...

    I did what you told ...but unfortunately nothing changed...I still couldn't see the device nvidia on device manager..
    I made tons of search but I couldnt find a solution so I will go on using my PC screen like a 8 bit Atari Screen*Huh...I think I should be used to see it as is.

    The missing driver its part of the >>chipset << driver.
    It should already be on your system, if not have you still got your original Vista drivers disc.

    Open device manager go to co processor > update > Browse my computer > search c:AMD

    If that does not find it download from HP the AMD CHIPSET driver to a usb device update/search/usb drive.
