Windows 10: Windows 10 Glitch

Ok, So I have been a Windows 10 User for almost two years straight. I haven't noticed any bugs so far and I am not very technical too. But, this happened 3 days before when My system showed me an Update mentioning I have to restart my system to Finalize Installation. When I restarted my Laptop I received an error stating unable to find boot media.


After Digging somewhere I found a Solution that I can restore or Reset my system using a Windows 10 USB flash drive. I tries to Restore my system but, again an error. there was no restore point. Ok..... No Problem "let me reset the Windows" I thought and that's exactly I did. I reset my Windows checking the Option to Keep my Files. But, when the Windows Finally boot. All my files in "Document, Pictures, Videos, Downloads and Desktop Folder" are gone.


It was like there wasn't anything in there.


So I am Just wondering if anybody knows how can I get those Files back as these are my office files and unfortunately I don't have any other Backup of these.

If there is someone who can help me that would be Great!!!

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Glitching After Updating To Windows 10

Hi Ahsiek,

Display errors might have caused by an incompatible drivers. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to know the following:

• What is the
  build number and version of your Windows?
• When you say glitch, does it mean that the screen flickers?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
• What is the make and model of your Windows 10 laptop?
