Windows 10 goes to power save mode

I have Acer AM 7720 with latest window 10. While using the PC if I am watching movie it will switch to black screen with message saying power save mode. PC is still running but no matter what I do with mouse or keyboard I can’t get back. I hear high pitch noise in headphones. Other times if I am browsing and same thing will as above and goes to power save mode.

Only way if I can get it back is hard reboot by pressing the power button and restarting it.

I checked the power options and set them to advanced with no sleep or turn off. I am not sure what is causing it go to power save mode.

Any program to use so it can log it I can check logs what caused it or how I can resolve it?

    Thanks

sleep mode and power options not working on Windows 10

    Hi,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Forums.

For issues with sleep mode and power options follow the steps provided below.

Run the Power troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

    • Open Control Panel.
    • Type Troubleshooting in search and click
      Troubleshooting.
    • Now type Power in the search option.
    • Click on Power troubleshooter to run.

I would suggest you to try updating the Display driver and check if the issue persists. If you already have all the latest drivers from Windows updates, then I would suggest you to visit the computer manufacturer's website, download and install the latest
drivers in compatibility mode and check.

    Hope this helps.
