Windows 10: Windows 10 google chrome new tab search box disappear? and typing on it shows light blue...

My google chrome is updated. I Posted on google support but no one answers. How to fix this? I tested on many of my friends' computers. Only mine is broken. How to fix plz

light blue highlight color now in autofill in search bar in chrome

All of a sudden today when typing in the url/search bar, as the wordauto fills i it is being highlighted in light blue. What is this about? It's a very light blue, not the blue one gets when highlighting to copy and paste something

Is this a chrome problem or Windows 10. I have not touched any settings on my laptop. It wasn't doing it this morning but started this afternoon.

I went to CHrome support and they were useless as usual. None of the shoices in the boxes apply.

I am not going to set chrome to default if chrome is the probelm.

Can someone help me?

New "Search Tabs" icon on Google Chrome?

I did another Google search, and this is an experimental feature-

to Disable it, and remove icon- copy this to search bar, and Press Enter, click down arrow on box/Disable/Press Relaunch icon...

Search on new tabs uses search box or address bar query

When you choose the "Address bar" option, you will only be able to search in the address bar, if you try to type something in the search box (the one in the middle), you will notice that it automatically redirects you to the address bar, this is how it works in Chrome currently, basically the "Address bar" option turns the search box into a "fakebox".

If you choose the other option (Search box), you can type directly in the search box (it will not redirect you to the address bar), and you will be able to search in the search box with Bing and in the omnibox (address bar) with Google (or with any other search engine).

Many users wanted to have the option to search in the New Tab Page with a search engine other than Bing and this was Microsoft's response to those requests, in fact, if you choose the "Address bar" option, you will notice that the Bing logo disappears from the search box.

Interestingly, in Chrome, that "fakebox" will soon become a "realbox", that is, it will be possible to type directly into the search box without being redirected to the omnibox, this feature can be enabled in Chrome with a flag.
