Discus and support Windows 10 half my internet speed i pay for in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; So i'm connected to my 5GHZ wifi, and i usually get 280 down / 12 up.     So i'm connected to my 5GHZ wifi, and i usually get 280 down / 12 up. I have test my speed on a laptop from the same distance, and the speed is fine. on my desktop which is wireless i get 150 down / 12up. All my drivers are up to date, and i have been searching all over the web for a resolution. im on Windows 10 version 1809 build 17763.1.

    Windows 10 download speed issues

    Try this method:
    • First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
    • locate and select “Update and Security“.
    • in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
    • In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
    • Turn off Updates from more than one place.
    Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.

    My computer internet speed is not downloading and uploading as fast as the plan I pay Spectrum for

    I have a Dell Latitude Laptop, running Windows 10, and for some reason, the internet plan I pay for, with download of 400Mbps and upload of 20Mbps is performing at "half" of that, at best. Sometimes only one-quarter of that speed. I have called Spectrum,
    and they are in fact putting out the faster speed. We confirmed this by doing a speed test on my Apple iPhone 7 32GB, and have confirmed that I am in fact getting the proper internet speeds on that device. Can you help me with an answer and solution on how
    to allow that the Spectrum plan (400 / 20) internet speed to be functional on my laptop? Thanks!
