Windows 10: Windows 10 has 751 "DefaultUserxxx" userprofiles

Hello,On my brothers PC I saw, that in the user-folder C:\users there are 751 folders, which begin with defaultuser.I deleted them all with admin rights but after the next reboot, they are there again.In the event manager I searched in "Windows Protocols -> Security" for the event ID 4720 recommendation from copilot and found two entries.Seems like Windows has created those user accounts.How can I find out, why these user accounts are created and how can I prevent Windows 10 from creating them?My brother has Windows 10 PRO in German language.Thanks for your feedbackOLLI

Userprofile folder not showing

Open admin Command Prompt and run the following commands:

• dir c:\users /a
  

• echo %userprofile%
  

• type %userprofile%\desktop.ini

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
