Windows 10: Windows 10 has completely destroyed gaming........

I play ALOT of games on my system.... Or should I say I USED to play alot of games on my system.... After this last useless update that y'all force down our throats, I cannot log into ANY of the games that I play online.... & if I AM allowed to log in, I am bumped off in 1-2 min due to the 4000 things running in the background eating 1/2 to 3/4 of my available memory... these things running in the background do not need 8 to 12 gigs of memory to run... What have y'all done to Win10? Is this some sort of ploy to get us all to switch to Win 11?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
