    Windows 7 vs Windows 10 gaming

    FPS improvements from Win 7 to Win 8 were within the single percentiles (We're talking 1% +- 1%). Judging by the fact the Kernel for Win 10 isn't much different, I would assume no difference, or again 1% +- 1%.

    Bare in mind Windows 10 is basically just a service pack for Windows 8. They just wanted to change the name to distance themselves from 8.

    It looks like Windows 10 will ship with DX 12

    Windows 10 will ship with DirectX 12

    If there are any significant improvements over Win 7 gaming wise then that is a reason for me to upgrade. If not, I'm perfectly happy with Win 7.
