Windows 10: Windows 10-Having to repair M720 Triathlon Logitech Mouse each time for it to work properly

Hey, I would like some insight on why I have to repair my bluetooth M720 Triathlon Logitech Mouse each time for it to work properly even when distance from bluetooth adapter is less than one meter and no obstacles between.Not a tech guy here, but I have come to realize that repairing the mouse everytime is the only way I can get it to work properly, other way, after rebooting Windows 10 the mouse will be recognized but keep stuttering with normal usage, making it useless.Problem seems OS derived due to it not happening with other bluetooth periphericals on same PC, and the mouse and 5.0 Blueto

Ahh, you already bought a mouse *Smile I was going to suggest Logitech Triathlon M720 . It's the successor of the M705, the best productivity mouse on the cheap side I know. The thumb button is SO convenient for photo-software work or Sketch Up or whatever software you use. From the many many mice I've tried, I just come back to this design for everyday use and work, so good in my opinion.

Logitech M720 mouse randomly causes Desktop/Task Window/Windows Timeline/Other to display

After searching endlessly and finding no discussions that presented with a successful solution I decided look at logitech's feature descriptions as it related to my new M720 mouse.

I found the answer in a blog article published by Logitech - discussing "Logitech Options" software that works with their mice and keyboards that are compatible. The new feature help make using input devices more fluid with Windows 10. Below is a link

On the M720 the "gesture" button feature located right where the users thumb grasps the mouse, has a default setting to open the aforementioned window when pressed. In my case with the new Windows 10 update it opened "Windows Timeline" each time it was
pressed. I was totally unaware that the button existed. Upon setting the gesture feature to "none" the issue resolved itself.

Hope that this helps someone before they get frustrated.
