Windows 10: Windows 10 hibernate issue.

Hello,there are two user accounts on my pc one for me and one for my brother , I never shutdown the pc I always using hibernate option but the problem is my brother after logout from its account and shutdown the pc, after that when I comeback and turn on the pc I cant find my session and my hibernate state lost, here I cant ask my brother to hibernate pc because he is want to shutdown not to hibernate is there any solution ? thank you

I suggest you to follow the methods provided below and check if it helps.

I suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if for any power components change status.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
• Click on View All from the left side panel of the window.
• Select Power from the options, click on Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically option.
• Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooting to complete.
• Check for the missing/corrupted power component status of the troubleshooter, close the window and check if the issue is resolved.

But still as you are facing issue with Hibernate I suggest you to follow the bellow steps to resolve the issue.

Follow the bellows steps and check if you are able to enable Hibernate option on Windows 10.

1. Press Windows + R keys on the keyboard to launch RUN dialog box.

2. Type powercfg.cpl and press Enter. It will open Power Options window.

3. Now click on Choose what the power buttons do link given in left sidebar.

4. Then click on Change settings that are currently unavailable link given at the top and scroll down to bottom.

5. You'll notice that Hibernate option is unchecked. Enable the option and apply the changes.

6. After performing above steps, check if you are able to Hibernate Windows 10.
