Windows 10: Windows 10 high secondary disk IO causes System unresponsiveness

My system has two 4TB nvme SSDs and a large SATA HDD for bulk storage of seldomly used files.Windows 10 and all programs are installed to one of the SSDs.Whenever the HDD is at 100% load with datarates below 200MB/s, the whole system becomes sluggish, especially the explorer windows who freeze regardles of which folder is selected.I already tried enabling "Launch folder windows in a separate process" but it made no difference.Is there some setting that needs to be modified to prevent the freezing?ThanksSystem specs for reference3950X32GB DDR4 @3800MT/s4TB 990 Pro SSDs6TB WD Gold HDD

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
