Windows 10: Windows 10 Home automatic updates

My disk drive size is increasing is day by day. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, it is not a virus issue and I think it is happening because of WINDOWS UPDATES.I had 23 GB space left 8 days ago, now I have 21.2 GB left, I did not install/download anything new since then. I am usingWindows 10 Home version 2004. My questions are:

• Will Windows keep updating itself till my space left becomes 0?
• Will my disk drive size ever come back to earlier levels, automatically?
• These updates take up space. So as days pass by, my Windows will keep updating itself and my space left will start nearing 0, is that the way how it's supposed to happen?
• Could it be something else, because of which this might be happening?

windows automatic updates

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
