Windows 10: Windows 10 Home edition version 2004 cannot access shared folder

Hello,


I have tried everything from the suggestions online but still no joy.


I have shared a folder on my computer and would like for my other laptop in the same wifi home network to access it. The laptops see the folder but each time I tried to open it I get the error prompt that I don't have permission to access it.


I have changed all permissions to EVERYONE as suggested but nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”

0x80070035 - Unable to access network devices / folders after upgrading to Windows 10 (2004 Version)

Hi,

After upgrading windows 7 to windows 10(2004 version), I am unable to connect to any network drive/devices.

Cannot join the computer to the domain

Cannot access the shared folder

Tried all the troubleshooting steps but no luck.

I think there's a bug in windows 10 2004 version update.

Error details are as follows:

Error Code: 0x80070035 - The network path was not found.

I did the manual windows update too, but no luck
