Windows 10: Windows 10 Home Error 0x80073712

When I tried to update the things that were listed in the Windows update, all it shows is the pending installation and then I get an error 0x80073712. I tried everything, like reinstalling cmd stuff. It also says that I am missing important security and quality fixes

Updates are adobe flash, .net framework, cumulative update and more.

I am not able to connect the i phone with PC (dell windows 10 64bit) due following update error Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x80073712)

I tried with following options but still problem update is due

Step 1: Use System File Checker to repair damaged Windows files

Step 2: Run the DISM tool

Please suggest me how to solve this issuse

I received a thumb drive from Microsoft ( there were issues down loading the image) for Windows 10. I used it to reset my Surface Pro 3 to Windows 10 and it worked. I was then able to install update KB3172985 without getting error 0x80073712.
