    Windows 10 Home - Intel HD 4600 - Not Compatible : Dotted, fuzzy, hyphens on screen


    Hello Team,

    I am having strange issues in windows 10.

    Screen is getting distorted after the update. I read blogs and came to know something wrong with graphics driver.

    in detail I can say.screen is having many dots, hyphens and when you move mouse, it is used to change position.


    then I have uninstalled Intel display driver Intel Graphics 4600 from control panel, it is working fine now.

    The issue now is, windows 10 is keep checking for updates and automatically installs intel display driver. also after removing this driver, few feature s like nightlight, screen resolution change are not working.


    Could you please help me with right direction?

    I suggest you to download Windows 8.1 compatible Intel HD Graphics 4600 drivers from the following link:

    Search downloads

    Once you successfully download Windows 8.1 compatible Intel HD Graphics 4600 drivers, I suggest you to try to install them in compatibility mode and check.

    Note: The above mentioned steps are also applicable to Windows 10.

    Windows 10 / Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600

    That's great. However, I have the latest driver for the HD 4600 released end of May and still doesnt work. Constantly crashes and Intel's response is that 10 is "still not a certified system". With RTM in less than 30 days, I wonder if July 15th would be
    a good time to begin to work on a driver thta is compatible with Windows 10.

    Thoughts? Suggestions?
