Windows 10: windows 10 home issues with slow boot problem and search box in the taskbar not allowing...

I had bought a Dell laptop in the month of March,2020. it was working fine - no issue. I had been updating the windows patch as and when asked. one fine day i suddenly downloaded the entire version instead of updating it.

this made 2 windows with one as windows.old.the i took the help of disk cleaner to remove the older version. after that i have been facing issues regarding slow bootingalmost 2 minutes and task bar problems with the search box not allowing anything to write in it and search.

Search box on taskbar missing.

This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
• Select Show search box.

windows 10 slow boot

I was having a slow boot issue on my Windows 7 install a little while back. It would take about 30 - 40 extra seconds to boot up for whatever reason.

I would try following these steps, while this didn't solve my issue, it did increase Read/Write to where it should be.

In the end, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 entirely to fix the booting issue. It was taking around 35 seconds to boot, and after the fresh install it takes about 7 seconds to boot.

When I right click on Taskbar, there is no "Search" in the list.
