Windows 10: Windows 10 Home OEM upgrading to Win 10 Pro via Volume Licensing to ultimately get Win 10...

it is possible to upgrade Windows 10 Home OEM to Win 10 Pro via Volume Licensing? In my company we have 20 pc's with Windows 10 Home OEM licenses. After deploying Microsoft 365 Business Premium, we want upgrade PC's to Windows 10 Business version. To do that, it's required to have Win 10 Pro license. So my plan is to first upgrade all of 20 PCs to to Win 10 Pro via Volume License. And then upgrade them to Win 10 Business.
If so, which is better option, because I really can't understand Licensing programs of Microsoft? Somewhere I read, that it's not possible to upgrade Win 10 Home to Pro via Volume licensing, I can only through buying 20 in my case Retail licenses and installing them separately. Can you refer to this also?

Windows 10 upgrade license

The interesting question is that: the upgrade takes place before 29 of July. If I upgrade the PC (change the MB), and I transfer the Win 8.1 license to this new PC (cause 8.1 is retail FPP), will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free? Or a upgrade license must be bought?

Hello guys,

I have 1 license of WIndows 8.1 FPP/retail license. I want to upgrade to WIndows 10, but I one thing is unclear to me.
If I upgrade, will WIndows 10 license be retail or it will "turn" into some sort of OEM license?

I ask this because I upgrade my PC, you know, more memory, replace HDD, and I intend to upgrade the MB and CPU to Kaby Lake platform sometime in the future, (and of course sell the replaced hardware)
This thing is not clearly mentioned anywhere.

Upgrade a Win 10 home OEM to Win 10 Pro OEM with Win 10 Pro OEM Key?

I recently purchased a laptop that has an OEM version of Win 10 Home on it.

I verified this by using : slmgr -dli.

Previously I had purchased an OEM Win 10 Pro Key.

Can I use this OEM Win 10 Pro Key to upgrade the OEM Win 10 Home to the OEM Win 10 Pro.

If so what are the steps to accomplish this?

In addition, I assume that is this is possible, that the current product key will be updated to the new product key?

The reason I am asking this is that it's my understanding that these product keys are tied to the bios on a name brand laptop.
