  1. Windows 10 Home Registry

I attempted to install gpedit.msc using the command dism /online /norestart /add-package:”%SystemRoot%servicingPackages{{PackageFileName}} But got this:

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool

    Version: 10.0.19041.572

    Image Version: 10.0.19042.685

An error occurred trying to open - C:\WINDOWSservicingPackages{{PackageFileName}} Error: 0x80070002

An error occurred trying to open - C:\WINDOWSservicingPackages{{PackageFileName}} Error: 0x80070002

    Error: 2

An error occurred trying to open - C:\WINDOWSservicingPackages{{PackageFileName}} Error: 0x80070002

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log o

How would I be able to perform the changes below on a computer with no gpedit.msc ?

    "Hi,

had the same error but got it fixed by activating file encryption on NTFS volumes in gpedit cause i found that the error code information is: "volume_not_support_efs" means "the disk partition does not support file encryption"

    So, try:

    1. "Windows Button" + "R"

    2. type in "gpedit.msc" and hit "enter"

    3. in gpedit go to "Computer Configuration" > "Administrative Templates" > "System" > "Filesystem" > "NTFS"

    4. check if "Do not allow encryption an all NTFS volumes" is activated, if so then double click it and set it to "not configured"

    5. Restart PC and try to install games"

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
