    windows 10 home version 1709 OS Build 16299.611 won't upgrade


    tried everything; the upgrade fails. the pc doesn't fully restart; freezes with black screen but the display's indicator light stays blue, not yellow. I have to shut it down with power button, then restart. It then continues updating; but reaches a point where I see it's reverting back to prior software.


    I have no antivirus; used to have McAfee, but I've reset using ISO several times. Tried update assistant. took out the usb dongle for mouse.

    The restarts have been failing for several weeks now; it never restarts fully.


    Couldn't find a Restore date.

    Will microsoft tech support help me with this?

    WINVER 1709 OS Build 16299-192 update

    I have WINVER 1607 OS Build 14393.1770 on my laptop. I have WINVER 1709 OS Build 16299-192 on my PC. I suspect the laptop update did not work properly. Where do I find the latest download for my laptop? Thx

    Can I upgrade to Version 1709 (OS build 16299). If so what are the steps to do that.

    This system is owned by D-Tools Inc. who have all the relevant licenses.
