    Hello smart people, I am a tech idiot and have a question. Why do I find these images of the gear icon in random folders all over my computer? This on says it's configuration settings and not to remove it or windows will stop working properly. I have no idea why or where they come from but I get them frequently. I do not ever go into the operating files and have them hidden so I don't accidentally open them. This really bugs me because they show up in folder of memes or really just anywhere. I have Malware bytes as well as windows defender and have used Avast and McAfee over the years but

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
