Windows 10: windows 10 hotspot stops working after a while

i have a laptop that is connected to a LAN and i use it as a hotspot for my my other smaller laptop. at first it works but after a couple of hours the hotspot is still active but there is no internet on my smaller laptop. when i trouble shoot it i get this error message "your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource primary dns server is not responding". If i restart the computer connected to the LAN that is hosting the hotspot it will start working but after a couple of hours the same thing happens.

Wifi hotspot stopped working AGAIN

Was working fine, devices could connect no problem. Then it stopped....devices could see the hotspot but could not connect. From a suggestion, I completely removed AVS security and hotspot started working fine. Now out of the blue stopped working again (I did not reinstall AVS )

Could it be setting in defender or ????????

 

Windows 10 Mobile hotspot not working because of firewall

Sir... I'm from the Philippines...regarding in what situation is all about... I having problem too, its about my Avast Firewall, it's act to block my Windows 10 Hotspot, i figure it out that my problem of having disconnection when i active my win 10 hotspot while avast is on, when i disable it, my hotspot works......can you tell me step by step how to configure to work properly my win 10 hotspot while the avast firewall is on???....by the way I'm just disable only firewall of avast but the whole operation of my anti-virus is working, just the Firewall...and its work while i disable Avast Firewall....PLS help me about it!
