  1. Windows 10: how do I reactivate a display that was previously disabled?

I have a HP laptop and two additional displays configured in extended mode. This configuration worked well until one of the two external displays broke (number 2). To avoid having Windows put anything on the broken display, I went to setup and disabled display 2.

So then I had display 1 (laptop screen) and display 3, configured as display 2.

Then I got a replacement for the Philips 2-monitor hardware that I was using, but Windows still had the configuration where display 2 is disabled.

How can I enable display 2 to have all three displays working in extended mode?

    :)

Have any of you successfully disabled iGPU in UEFI using windows 10 without getting black screen on boot as well as dual displays when running only one display? It is better described in this video My setup is i5-4670k and r9 280x.

Windows 10: how do I reactivate a display that was previously disabled?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
