Windows 10: Windows 10 in Laptop keeps failing to find installed printer

I have a an Epson WF-3520 wireless printer/scanner which is connected to my home router. It's only turned on when in use but whilst my main PC which runs Windows 10 and daughters Laptop also Windows 10 can find it each time my own Laptop Windows 10 Pro always states it is offline when I try to print.


I then have to go into settings and uninstall the printer in there and ask Windows to find a new printer at which point the WF-3520 appears instantly and installs/works. Only to fail the next time I reboot the laptop.


Can someone advise why Windows is doing this as I need to print of the laptop regularly and it's pain having to uninstall and reinstall the same printer every day just to get them to talk. The issue clearly lies with the laptop as the other devices and indeed even Android devices on the same network have no issues at all talking to it.

There appears to be a problem with the driver for the printer that is installed on the laptop. Let's look into some things to identify what needs to be corrected. Kindly answer the following:

• Do you get any error messages when using the devices?
• How do you uninstall and reinstall the printer?

Let's run the Printer Troubleshooter in Control Panel to collect more information about the problem. It may also fix the issue since Windows troubleshooters are designed to correct the issues they find on the system. Follow these steps to run the suggested
tool:

• Click on Start.
• Type Troubleshooting then press Enter.
• On the left panel, click on View all.
• Choose Printer and allow the troubleshooter to run.

We can move forward based on your updates.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
