Calling all Windows Insiders to gear up and start doing some awesome creepy crawly hunting!

The 19H1 Bug Bash runs from Wednesday, January 23 through Sunday, February 3, 2019, 11:59 PM PST.

Help us in shaping the next evolution of Windows 10 — explore new and updated features being created for the 19H1 release, give us feedback and find the bugs. Your efforts will be recognized with a new Feedback Hub Achievement Bug Badge, which you’ll be awarded after the Bug Bash ends.

On Tuesday, January 29 at 10:00 AM PST, you can meet some of the awesome folks behind the scenes at a special Bug Bash webcast.

Here’s how to gear up to win:

1. Install the latest Windows 19H1 build on your device.

FIND OUT HOW TO INSTALL

2. Complete at least one Quest in the Feedback Hub during the Bug Bash. We’ll be releasing new Quests every day of Bug Bash — keep a lookout for the suggested Quests of the Day in the Feedback Hub Announcements. Visit the Feedback Hub Quests page frequently to catch them all.

COMPLETE A QUEST

3. Review the 19H1 features and let us know what you like or want changed about the features in the Feedback Hub during the Bug Bash. And of course, record any bugs.

Announcing Windows 10 (Redstone 5) Bug Bash Insiders2Campus Contest

To qualify for the contest, participate in a Windows 10 (Redstone 5) Bug Bash

Windows 10 bug bashes are a chance to provide feedback on specific Windows Insider Preview features and functions — by participating in 'Quests' in the Feedback Hub designed by our Windows engineers.

Become a Windows Insider.

Download the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview or Windows Server Insider Preview build at the time of one of the bug bashes listed below.

Bug Bash #1, June 22 – July 1, 2018

Bug Bash #2, July 27 – August 5, 2018

Go to the Feedback Hub. Click on the Quests section and complete at least one quest.

Go to the Feedback section of the Feedback Hub and log at least one piece of feedback relating to the Insider Preview build that you downloaded during the Bug Bash dates.

Enter the contest by August 15, 2018.

Windows 10 February 2018 Bug Bash Begins

On Your Mark, Get Set, BUG BASH!

Hello, Windows Insiders!

Our first Bug Bash for 2018 officially kicks off today and runs from February 2nd - 11:59 PM PST on February 11th.

This will be our only Bug Bash for this release and we’re looking forward to your feedback!

This is your opportunity to explore the features we’ve been working on, experiment, provide feedback, and tell us what you would like to see improved before we finalize and ship to the rest of our customers.

To receive a Feedback Hub achievement for participating in the Bug Bash, during this timespan you’ll need to fulfill the following:

Be on the latest Fast or Slow ring build

Log a least one piece of feedback in the Feedback Hub

Complete at least one Quest in the Feedback Hub

Achievements will be sent out after the Bug Bash has been completed.

Visit Quests today to start earning your achievements in our current focus areas - Input, IoT, Personalization, Privacy, Security, Store, and Windows Community.

There will be content added throughout the Bug Bash so be sure to keep an eye on the Feedback Hub for new and suggested Quests of the day.

Microsoft announcing Windows 10 Bug Bash Privacy Edition

Hello, Windows Insiders!

We’re announcing the Bug Bash Privacy Edition, which officially kicks off today and runs from March 7th - 11:59 PM PST on March 16th .

Marisa Rogers (WDG Privacy Officer) published an article in her blog this week that focuses on the new privacy setup experience we’re building for the upcoming version of Windows 10, which is the focus of this mini Bug Bash. We’re looking for you to test both upgrades and clean installs of these new experiences and send in your feedback!

This is your opportunity to explore the what we’ve been working on, provide feedback, and tell us what you would like to see improved before we finalize and ship these out to our customers.

To receive a Feedback Hub achievement for participating in the Bug Bash, during this timespan you’ll need to fulfill the following:
