Hello all. I have been noticing general stability issues with Windows 10 general for the last year, across Dell, HP, Lenovo laptops and desktops. BSOD, System freezes, and even system reboots without a dump file. I initially believed this trend was limited to Intel based systems, but it is also happening on AMD based systems. Laptops or desktops are affected. The only common denominator is Windows 10. My gut feeling is that this could be due to the remediations of Spectre and Meltdown Microsoft, Intel and AMD have been forced to add. I work for an enterprise and am seeing these issues very f

Has any one got this BSOD when stress testing a overclock before? i can get the minidump if some one can read it for me i was trying for 4.5Ghz @ 1.31v and after around 20min of stressing i would get this BSOD and it would shut my system down not even sure i saw a BSOD just a shutdown?

    RAID1 Windows 2012 R2 Unexpected shutdown Event ID 41

    Hi:

I'm trying to set up a new Windows 2012 R2 server with RAID 1 configuration. After all the Windows update, the computer seems to be fine. Until I installed SQL server 2016 Express and SMSS V18.5. The computer would reboot randomly, there was no bugcheck
code reported after the automatic reboot.

I've done the following diagnostics, they all seemed fine:

    1. Windows Memory Diagnostics
    2. Memory Diagnostics from bios
    3. Hard Drives diagnostics from bios
    4. Chkdsk /f /r
    5. sfc /scannow
I then disabled the "Automatically restart" from the Windows Startup and Recovery. On the next unexpected shutdown, I was able to see the error on the BSOD, the error was "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". Once the computer was restarted, I can see the bugcheck
code from the Event Viewer (Event ID 41). Here are the details:

    Bugcheckcode 80

    BugcheckParameter1 0xfffff801c4ca98fe

    BugcheckParameter2 0x8

    BugcheckParameter3 0xfffff801c4ca98fe

    BugcheckParameter4 0x2

The question is that what do I need to do to fix this issue. Any suggestion would be welcomed.
