Windows 10: Windows 10 install failed with 0xC1900101 - 0x30017 The installation failed in the...

Hello -I just tried to update my Asus laptop Windows 10 version 1909 to the latest Windows 10 21H2 OS update 12/21/2021. After about 4 hrs of the update process, the update failed and went into recovery mode to the previous 1909 version. When the system was back up, Windows displayed a popup with this message: Windows 10 install failed with 0xC1900101 - 0x30017 The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during BOOT operationCan somebody recommend a good way to troubleshoot this error? I know there are Windows update logs that can be consulted but so far I haven't been

I've pasted the results of all three drives into the same text file. Drives F,E & C(OS) in that order.

I guess I'm ready with the backups too. I have a backup from a week or so back and that should be enough if need be. I've also familiarized myself with the Driver Verifier procedure. So, that will be the next step, right?

edit: I've since made a find. Yesterday, I made the mistake of not searching whole of C: for the drivers. I only looked in the Windows folder. The LUMDriver happens to belong to one of the softwares I've installed: CATIA. Maybe uninstalling it should take care of that, hopefully.
@zbook - would it be OK for me to run the driver verfier now or should I first try uninstalling CATIA?

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
