    Hello. I had not enough disc space. So suddenly it started windows again. So now my windows 10 ultimate 64bit is pirated and cant donwload windows 10 anymore. I dont have that key because i bought this computer from one guy that i dont even know. So i just hope i can get it or something. Can i get codes or *Sad

    Keep 2 different windows in different drives, with different architectures(32b&64b).

    I have a windows 7Ultimate - 32bits in my HDD(cWindows 10 installation failed, now my windows 7ultimate is pirated? :).

    I want to install windows 10Pro - 64bits in my new SSD(sWindows 10 installation failed, now my windows 7ultimate is pirated? :).

    Can I keep both? Also... If I can, how do I do it?

    - I tryed to install windows10Pro from the ms .iso but it forcibly assumes a 32bits instal and tries to take over my windows 7Ultimate and does not let me change the architecture or where to install it.

    Can it be solved with a Boot-USB using the Rufus method?

    Can I use win7 ulltimate retail later upgraded to win8 to upgrade to windows 10?

    I bought Win-7Ultimate Retail Boxed Pack with COA on 22-Sept-2010 from eBay seller.

    Subsequently, I bought Windows 8 as upgrade from win7 ultimate and activated it in October 2012.

    On 29-Jul-2015 when Microsoft launched windows-10, I upgraded my windows 8.1 Pro to Windows-10.

    Now, I am assembling a new PC and want to know if I can transfer this Windows-10 to the new PC and, if so, how I can do it
    and how to activate it. Kindly advise me if this is permissible.
    If not permissible, can I install the Win-7Ultimate Retail Boxed Pack which I bought on 22-Sept-2010 and have not used it on any other PC and subsequently go for upgrade to windows-10.

    Hi!

    If your key was ok before that upgrade attempt, then it should still be ok now.

    There are tools, which can read out and show you your product key. Showkey is one of them:
    Showkey - Windows 10 Forums

    Another tool I know of is called Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder.

    I think with these tools you should be able to read out the product key.

    Anyway, didn't Windows 7 still come with a printed label with the key on it attached to the PC?

    I tried key that i ProdyKey found. But it says errorcode 0xC004E003 So already used ? Like i cant even see that windows 10 update thing anywhere anymore. I just wanted try it but now i have pirated windows 7 ultimate, and cant update to windows *Sad

    If your key was ok before that upgrade attempt, then it should still be ok now.
    Call Microsoft to activated your "legal" Windows 7 again.

    sounds like the guy you bought the computer had installed a pirated copy of win7 ,way I see it your only option is to buy a legit copy of windows ,be it 7 or 8, or even 10 ,,but I think its the only option you got , good luck.
    its been documented that with win10 Microsoft is going to do its best to kill pirate software on a upgraded computer,

    But It was normal like 2 years, whenever i ever bought this. im not sure what means that i have text This copy of windows is not genuine on the right. Not sure if that means pirated tho *Redface But this happened after windows 10 failed

    re-install your Windows 7 OS (restore a backup , you DID do a full OS backup didn't you?) and then re-do the Windows 10 upgrade.

    Use showkey and write down the Windows 7 key.

    It's the only way to make it work again according to MS Support.

    yes not genuine and pirated mean the same thing ,to me anyway ,,it is said that win10 has tools in to detect ,not genuine/pirated software ,
