Windows 10: Windows 10 installation fails by various reasons

    Windows 10 installation fails by various reasons


    My Windows 10 Home clean installation fails continuously by BSOD. There are many different reason, like

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    REFERENCE_BY_POINTER
    BAD_POOL_HEADER
    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    CACHE_MANAGER
    INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
    PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    CRITICAL_SERVICE_FAILED

    The device is Chinese tablet PC Teclast X98 Plus, original OS is Windows 10, purchased on January 2016.

    Installation proceeds to 40 - 96% and suddenly crashes by some reason listed above. I have 4 other Windows 10 devices, this is the only one with that issue. I believe it is device fault. Can someone tell me is there something to do with it, or will I throw it to scrap heap?

    After tens of attempt it finally installed. But still occassionally crashes. Useless device, have to walk to a shop.

    Upgrade to Windows 10 RTF from Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview Build 10049

    I'm stuck at Build 10049. Attempting to reinstall Win 8.1 blocked by "invalid" prod key. ISOs of subsequent builds fail. Various File check id's a problem but fixing problem fails for various reasons. Safe mode startup nada. Despair deepens while exploring
    Linux alternatives. Getting bad case of Windows Willies. Is Windows 10 RTF forever out of reach?

    Unable to use HP CP2025 printer after installing Windows 10

    Hi, thanks for the information. I tried the various suggestions, however still does not work. Getting the message "Windows can't open Add Printer" The remote procedure call failed.

    For some reason, I can not install the printer driver.
