Windows 10: Windows 10 installation flash drive does not give normal prompts to install

Windows 10 refused to start after numerous disk errors were encountered. I tried to repair Windows using standard procedures but the repair was not able to correct the problem. I originally attempted a reinstallation by booting my installation flash drive. I was shown the normal screen to continue with the installation but I thought it better to format the hard disk prior to reinstalling Windows. Later after I formatted the largest volume on my hard disk using diskpart, I tried to proceed again by booting my installation flash drive and was only shown a blank screen. I expected to see the usual prompts for a normal Windows installation as before. What happened? What changed? Why doesn't the flash drive proceed with a standard installation?

Yeah, that was going to be my next suggestion. You can actually access the command prompt from inside the Windows installer, then run DiskPart and do a Clean command on the drive.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk
