    Windows 10 installation from flash drive freezes system when loading


    I had to completely replace almost every component on my pc recently and finally comes the time to install windows to the computer. The BIOS let's me select the thumb drive to boot from, but when it tries to boot it freezes on the "ASUS in search of incredible" screen and doesn't get to the windows installer. I unplugged my HDD and only have the flash and the M.2 drive plugged in and the flash drive shows up as UEFI aswell. Any advice to get the windows installer to boot instead of freeze?

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    Well problem solved it didn't seem to like the mouse i had plugged in *Big Grin Windows 10 installation from flash drive freezes system when loading :D

    It takes about 5min for to load each step in the windows setup? The disc drive will stop for about 5min then spin up and finally load? it does this for every step in the setup? very odd.
