Installing Windows 10 on free DOS from beginning

    thanks a lot friend,

but I want to know if its better to make 128 GB ssd in one drive, (basically it was shown in two 60 GB drives, named partition 0. Noted "not allowed to install windows on it"-s.th. like this- ) and install all windows & other heavy! software on it, or
    other ways?!

I had three partition to do that: (at the first)

partition 0, 60 GB (maybe the SSD one), mentioned not allowed!

partition 0, 59 GB (maybe the SSD one), mentioned not allowed!

partition 1, unpartitioned, 1.81 TB (the HDD)

    after installing, Now,

my windows is in 1.81 TB drive as C

and the 59 GB space as D is free.

I am planning to reinstall windows with partitioning this time, and make a 128 GB drive for running software & two other 900 GB drive free.

I should back up drivers first!!

If you are just going from a smaller SSD to a larger, just create a system image, then reimage to the new disk.
You will be able to boot into Windows.
Then on the new disk, open Disk Management, and either extend the C partition, or do that and create any number of partitions you wish.

Is this drive an OS drive? If so 1tb is a unnecessarily large for primary boot drive.

There might be a problem with that if the recovery partition (or any other partition) is directly after the operating system (boot) partition. Windows disk management by itself will not allow any partition to be expanded if there is no free space directly to the right of the partition to expand it into. A program like MiniTool Partition Wizard is required to move and expand the various partitions.

What if the user does not have a storage location to hold the image file?

  10. It is a OS drive, always used MiniTool Partition Wizard for partitions. Have Recovery, System EFI and Boot, Paging, Details about unexpected crashes, Primary. I will use system image and expand primary partiton on new one like you said, thanks.
